“I see DJing as a special form of art! Everyone can play songs one by another, but not creating one masterpiece out of several tracks, fast mixed on three decks, added by uncountable elements like vocals or beats. You must have the sensibility of ‘mixing’ and to play the right record at the right moment”, that’s DJ MonteVagino’s philosophy of DJing.

Rene Scheidenberger, alias MonteVagino, approached music at the beginning of 2000, at the age of 15, by playing in small bars and tiny clubs. From the very beginning he dedicated himself to House – Music.

From event to event he developed more and more his unmistakable style: the fast mixture of Pumpin' Vocal House Beats and Tribal Elements on three decks, called VoxTribeHouse. So it was obvious that he was nominated for ‘Newcomer of the Electronic Scene 2003 in Carinthia’. Another proof of his ability is the fact that after each first gig in a new location people are so fascinated by his style that he is booked frequently again and again.

In Carinthia he is popular for his ‘residentures’ in various bars and clubs, like ‘G@TES CaféBar’, ‘Pankraz’ or ‘PeZwei’. He also played at the legendary ‘Fete Blanche’ at Club ‘Fabrik’. In Styria he enjoyed several major clubbings, e.g. ‘Bacardi Club Night’ at the Grazer ‘Dom im Berg’.

2003/04 was time for change: MonteVagino crossed the borders of Austria and presented his mixing skills in other countries. Most of all he preferred playing in Slovenia. There he rocked uncountable parties, e.g. at ‘Club LIPA’, ‘FunFactory’ or ‘Heaven’, and also had the honour to play at the great ‘Final Flash City” in Izola.

Right from the start DJ MonteVagino started producing his own Mix – CDs, which everyone can find on his homepage www.montevagino.com.

Eventhough he is always busy, he has been managing the well known event series Housejammin' since 2003, which stands for high quality electronic music and parties in Carinthia. Until now there have been 17 Housejammin’ Events.

At present his biggest wish is to find time to work on his first release, thus being prepared for the sound of VoxTribeHouse.
